One-pot meals are lifesavers when you're short on time or ingredients. Dishes like dal, stir-fries, pasta, khichdi, and shakshuka can be made with minimal effort.


For instance, you can prepare a simple dal by boiling lentils with water, spices, and any leftover veggies you have. Simply throw everything into a pot, let it simmer, and you’ll have a filling meal in 20 to 30 minutes. A standard serving of dal contains around 18 grams of protein, making it a nutritious choice, especially if you're vegetarian.

In fact, using a pressure cooker can reduce cooking time by about 70% compared to traditional baking in an oven.

Adding a source of protein, such as chickpeas or your favorite nuts, can make your salad more filling and nutritious. A simple salad can be prepared in less than 10 minutes and can contain up to 250 calories depending on your ingredients.


For a quick wrap, just fill a tortilla with your preferred ingredients, roll it up, and enjoy. A wrap can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, making it both satisfying and healthy.
